India VS Australia Test Series - 2014

India could have lost the series.

But the way, the few batsmen played in this series, its really incredible.

Especially, Murali Vijay .

He is the best test series opener in Australia compared to last 40 years of Test series in Austraila.
Sine 1980s  , India didn't have strong opening batsmen like murali vijay.
Few have given, very good opening in the sense standing in the field for long time and NOT scoring runs.
Murali Vijay , is the first batsman, scored runs and also standed in the field for long time. And shown very good aggressive also.

Scored 482 runs in this series. One century and 5 Fifties with an average on 60.

Well Done Vijay!!!

KL Rahul, is definetly find of the tour though he played 2 test matches.

Its NOT easy to have a debut in MCG. Yes he had bery bad debut in MCG. In the way, he was standing and facing the ball. But in SCG, he has changed completely. Very confident in facing the balls. That also, as an opening Batsman when Austraila scored 572 runs.  And India is obviously under tremendous pressure. But he scored century and given very good partnership with rohit and Kohli.  Great Rahul!!! He could be another wall for india :)

Rahane - Classy.

It was great worry in indian cricket when VVS got retired. Question was, can any one replace him in the test team. Yes. Its Tough. Rahana got into position. He has been showing great attitude so far in the team. This series, is another GOOD example of his classy innings.

VIRAT KOHLI - Aggressive. NOT in the captainship. Also as a batsman.

GREAT PARTNERS in this Test SERIES

With Pujara coming back, I don't find any major issue in the indian Batting Team.
2-0 not bad when compare to previous visit.

The difference is the bowling. India need to think about their bowling unit while visiting outside.

None of the bowlers were above average. Shami, Ashwin and Ishant are Average. Rest of the bowlers, Umesh, Varun , are below average.
